At Reframe Coaching we love talking to people and sharing new ideas. That’s what makes our world so exciting, so once a month we host a free coaching call via Zoom which you are most welcome to attend. It’s the first Tuesday of every month at 8pm London time and the links are in the posts below. Other events are also listed here. Please join us. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to meeting you, even if it is only virtually!

Your Christmas dream might be as serious (and elusive) as world peace, or perhaps more along the lines of a family meal with turkey on the table. A white Christmas perhaps (mine would be blue skies!) or a sunny beach? Whatever it is, you are invited to don a festive hat and come and join in some fun on the December Reframe Coaching Community Call, on Tuesday 5 December at 8pm GMT.

Design Your Life writing workshop: 1 Nov at 8pm
This workshop will help you focus on three things to move forward:
Acceptance of who you are and all you have done to get you here
Awareness of what your starting point is right now
Action plan of what you need, to get where you are headed.
We will also look at the daily habits that will help you stay on course.
You will leave with a clear plan of what you need to do and the steps you can take to implement the future you have seen for yourself.
Take a bold step to end this year strong and renew your belief in yourself, your vision, and a more purposeful future.
The workshop costs only £15 and places are limited. This will be a small intimate group, with a lot of time for guided self-reflection and journaling, as well as some group discussion.
Caged, comfortable or charged? Oct 11 at 8pm
Are you feeling caged, comfortable or living a charged life? Find out how to distinguish between these ways of living and what you can do to shift into one where you are fully engaged in life itself.
We will be discussing how you can navigate from a world where you feel caged to one where you are feeling the spark of being fully alive more often.

Synchronicity – 2 Aug at 8pm
Synchronicity. What does it mean to you? That chance meeting with someone you haven’t seen for years but have been thinking about recently; the newspaper article about something that has been on your mind; just knowing who is on the other end of call before you look at the screen; the friend who talks about synchronicity when that’s the topic of your monthly call.
So many little things – do they all add up? Are all those happenstances just chance, or can you make them happen?
This month’s Reframe Coaching call is about this everyday magic. How do you see it expressed in your life? Are you even aware of it? Certainly, I believe that the more you tune into these tiny moments, the more you realise they are happening all the time.
This is a free Zoom call with a group of women talking about how we relate to a topic and it’s always fascinating to get different perspectives.
Gut instinct – what exactly is that?
5 July at 8pm
When your head may tell you one thing, but you just know in your gut that you need to do something different. Is it only that we need to learn to rely on our intuition, or is there an actual connection to our digestive system?
I have heard the gut being referred to as our second brain, and while I have been doing a health challenge for the past three months, I have learnt a lot more about that connection. Having just finished, I thought it was a good time to look at what exactly is ‘gut instinct’ and how do we tune into it better. One school of thought is that it’s not the same as intuition, but a more basic survival instinct, that perceives things before our conscious brain does. Has it got anything to do with our actual digestive system, or is it just a phrase?
Where exactly the conversation goes will depend on you, the audience, and I would love to hear your thoughts or experiences of when you did or didn’t trust it.

What will your legacy be? – 7 June
While so many of us are celebrating our Queen’s platinum jubilee over the coming long weekend, have you ever thought of what your legacy will be?
Growing old isn’t some sci-fi space-age fantasy. It’s something we need to plan for in advance.
What are you doing to ensure your good health into old age, without which all plans come unstuck? And being active isn’t only about physical agility, but mental agility too. What passion is driving you to keep you upbeat and interested in life? Are you constantly curious and learning more, or have you lapsed into a stagnant mental state?
Let’s talk about how considering your legacy can inform your choices today.
Discombobulated – 3 May at 8pm
What to do when you are feeling discombobulated, when you hit overwhelm or you slide into Victim and just can’t get yourself out of it.
We have all had times when life feels just too much, and our emotions take over. We turn into versions of ourselves we are not particularly proud of, and the downward spiral begins. I had a whoppa like that the other day and found myself struggling to stop feeling sorry for myself and mad at everyone else. What use is it being a coach if you can’t even help yourself? I trawled through my huge box of tools, looking for an instant fix. Of course, there isn’t one, but one jet-washed patio later, I was feeling better. I had new admiration for my clients who cope so admirably!!
I would love to hear from you how you navigate these moments of overwhelm. We all learn so much from sharing with each other.

The Power of No! – 5 April at 8pm
When do you say no, and when do you say yes? And to whom do you say them? Yes and no are two of the most powerful words, especially when we use them with calm deliberation. Far too often, though, we say yes to others and no to ourselves. Think about it, how often do you say yes to what it is you want or need, rather than worrying about the needs of others?
We will talk about how creating boundaries and learning when to say no helps us build our inner confidence. And yes, sometimes the person we need to say no to is in fact ourselves, when we are settling for things we don’t want, or not looking after our own needs.
Re-inventing yourself – Is it even possible? 1 March at 8pm
We keep being told how we need to change, how life is in a constant state of flux, but is it actually possible to reinvent yourself, ever?
That’s the topic for this month’s call, at a time when almost certainly your New Year’s resolutions are a vague whisper blown away by any number of storms, and if you set intentions instead, well, that’s tough too. Just how do we get to shift the parameters in this world we’re in right now? Let’s have an honest look at what it takes to get the different life we all crave, and how we can take from all the times we have messed up, all the failures and dead ends we have been down and lean into what life has already taught us, to move into a place more aligned with where we want to be right now.

Christmas in Covid Times – 7 Dec
Last year we thought – or we hoped – we were making once-in-a-lifetime arrangements for Christmas in Covid times. Then they all got trashed anyway, but we still hoped that 2021 would bring a new year, new hope and we could go back to the way things were. And what a year 2021 proved to be!
I dare say there isn’t a single one amongst us now, that has not been impacted closely by Covid in some way or another. So, for the last Reframe Coaching monthly get-together of the year, we’re going to talk turkey and traditions, mince-pies and mulled wine, sprouts and stuffing, presents and parties, cards and crackling.
Join me on Zoom for a final chat this year and let’s exchange recipes, nostalgia and plans for how we are going to make it work this time around. I would love to hear what you have in store.

Design Your Life – 2 Dec
Join me for a thoughtful 90-minute workshop, Design Your Life, on Thursday 2 December at 8pm where we will combine intentions to plan how to get the most out of our lives in 2022. This year has swept past with far too much of the pandemic still casting its shadow on us globally, and if ever there was a need to live intentionally, it is right now.
This workshop will help you focus on three things to move forward: Acceptance of who you are and all you have done to get you here; Awareness of what your starting point is right now; Action plan of what you need, to get where you are headed. We will also look at the daily habits that will help you stay on course. What do you need to let go of this season? – 2 Nov
There’s a reason it’s called Fall. Such a simple word. The leaves fall off the trees. The winds of change blow through our lives, nature gives a spectacular display of colour and then clears the way for something new.As someone who grew up with minimal seasonal change – pretty much hot and sunny or cold and sunny – I loved the colours of autumn, but I dreaded the winter they heralded, particularly the loss of daylight. Now I have come to accept that this season of change is a reminder to us to let go – and make space for new growth.
Letting go isn’t easy for many of us, whether it is letting go of physical stuff or emotional stuff. A theme that has kept cropping up for me recently is how vital it is to clear out if you want to be open to a new and different future.

Journeys – Real and Imagined – 5 October
Summer has undoubtedly departed for us here in the UK, but this time of year is not just one to remember wherever we were lucky enough to spend our summer holidays, but also to look forward to the journeys that lie ahead.
It is often a time of new beginnings – a new academic year, a new job, a time to shake off the languor of summer and get stuck in to whatever takes your fancy. Perhaps it’s time to try that art course you have always wanted to do? Do the horticulture exam you have been thinking about? For me, it is also the start of a chapter, taking my practice clients through a 12-week transformational programme that will give them unique insights into themselves and bring the training part of my One of Many Coaching certification to a close.
This month’s topic – Journeys, Real and Imagined is for you to share your summer vacation or the dreams your are bringing to fruition now.
What keeps you going when things don’t go to plan – 7 Sept at 8pm
What keeps you going, when things just aren’t going your way? When nothing is working out the way you had planned it?
That has been my challenge recently and I would love to get some insight and inspiration from you. Join me on Zoom on Tuesday 7 September at 8pm and let’s talk about it.

Routines – what have they done for you? 3 Aug at 8pm
Routines. Where would we be without them?
Do you ever ask yourself that question? The days you get up late, and you don’t get through your morning routine, or the kids are sick, and things don’t happen the way you want them to? What about the traffic jam that means you are running late and don’t manage to do your prep the way you normally do? Or the thing you need to organise that means your other routines go out the window?
Are they simply strait jackets that stop you from taking advantage of the moment, of grabbing that opportunity that passes by in the flash of an eye? Do they stop you from tuning into your intuition and being in the here and now?
How do you handle disappointment? 6 July 8pm
Whether it is a flight that shakes your confidence entirely and sends you right back to your pre-piloting days, or a wedding that has to be postponed because of Covid restrictions, we all have to handle disappointment. And when you are in the midst of it, those positive affirmations seem a lot more difficult than they do when things are going great.
As both of these examples were ones I have recently had to cope with, I chose disappointment this month’s topic.
Join me to discuss what does and doesn’t work for us when things don’t go according to plan. What strategies could you put into place to make those tricky moments less tricky?

How do you handle change? 1 June at 8pm
Not many of us are blessed to know an active, spritely centenarian who always inspires you with his sense of purpose and his willingness to embrace change. I have recently been involved with collecting memories from a fellow pilot who turned 100 last week, and I have been struck with how Ted handles change.
Undoubtedly, over this past century, there had been much for him to adapt to: from facing the war as a youngster to coping with the loss of personal freedom and choice during lockdown and everything that lay between. What I have noticed is Ted’s keenness to embrace the new, instead of resisting change. He is happy to, in his own words, “play around” with technology and see what it opens for him. He doesn’t push against the unknown. I believe this adaptability is key to his well-being.
So many of us are struggling with change at the moment. Let’s explore why we resist it and what you can do to help yourself.
Which comes first – Ingenuity or Perseverance? Tuesday 4 May at 8pm
Intrigued? As a pilot, I am obviously interested in moments aviation history is made. Two weeks ago, the remote-controlled flight of the tiny helicopter Ingenuity became humanity’s first powered, controlled flight to take place on another planet. The Mars Rover that landed on the red planet in February with Ingenuity in its belly, is called Perseverance.
Perseverance is the mother of Ingenuity, said a fellow pilot. Is it? Or is it the other way around? The bright idea or the hard work. It got me thinking about those two words, and why they were chosen to symbolise this incredible moment.
The May Reframe Coaching call will be about ingenuity and what it means to you, and what perseverance has to do with it, if anything.

What does connection mean to you? 6 April at 8pm
I know I would never have dreamt that online connection could be as powerful or as useful as it has been, but I know nothing beats the ability to pop over to a neighbour and say hi, face to face, seeing their smile and experiencing them in person. And not being able to hug my loved ones, friends and family, has been very difficult.
So, what does connection mean now, in 2021? Do you think we will ever go back to doing things the way we used to? What have you missed about live interaction, and what have you gained with the global power of online?
As we teeter on the brink of going back to a world post-lockdown, let’s talk about connection.
How do you handle fear?
2 March at 8pm
There has been so much personal and global fear we have all had to deal with over the past year it’s a timely topic for this month’s free Reframe Coaching group call.
Fear is our natural reaction to unknown situations, and it puts all our senses on high alert. That’s a great thing when you are faced with a sabre-toothed tiger, but not very comfortable to live with continually. And this global pandemic has seen fear run rife – fear not only of the disease, but of coping with loneliness, of being with others and especially of the future.
We will look at how we process this and explore finding the most constructive ways of dealing with it. We will also discuss the difference between fear and excitement – the butterflies in your stomach that new situations can elicit.

Reset your focus for 2021:
18 Feb at 11.30 am
It’s mid-February and already it feels as if it’s been a long, tough year! Is that how you are feeling about 2021? Perhaps the goals you set for yourself are not working out, or maybe you just need a bit of a boost.
Join me for a free workshop on Thursday 18 February at 11.30am where we will refocus on getting the best out of the year ahead. The pandemic has wreaked havoc in so many spheres of our lives, and we need to let go of that first, before we can build a new and different future for ourselves.
In this workshop we will be looking at what we take from last year, and how we break a downward spiral and bring hope and joy into our lives. Whatever you hoped for in the rush to say goodbye to 2020, let us use the power of connection to bring new energy to your 2021 goals.
If you are interested in joining, please message me for the link. You will need to allow just over an hour for the call. Bring an open mind, goals that scare you, pen and paper and your morning coffee and join other like-minded people crafting a better year ahead.
Find out more about the Covid-19 vaccine: Tuesday 2 Feb at 8pm
The Covid-19 vaccine is one of the feel-good stories to come out of the general gloom of this seemingly endless pandemic.
It’s very easy to forget that a few months ago there was absolutely no certainty that any vaccine would ever be developed, much less that it would have the success rate that almost all of the vaccines offer.
Now that there are multiple vaccines in many countries, we can compare their benefits, but never forget that this is a sign of unprecedented global scientific research.
It’s a fascinating story and the topic of this month’s group call, Tuesday 2 February at 8pm.

Living with intention in 2021 – Tuesday 5 Jan at 8
Welcome to 2021!What are your hopes for this new year? What path do you plan to follow? Perhaps there’s a little more trepidation today than you had last year? That was the start of a new decade, and everything seemed possible – and then 2020 happened.
This month it seems obvious to look at the year ahead. Not to talk about our resolutions – those go down the tubes in the second week of January. No, we will be discussing our intentions, or rather, how to live intentionally in 2021. Every day. That is much more powerful when we are consciously going about our day with intention, instead of letting life drag you in its current.
Let’s talk about what we dream and plan for the year ahead, what we dare to hope for and how we intend to make those dreams come true.
It is going to take some determined intentions to stay upbeat and positive, to see the opportunities in the crisis and to push for a change for the better for all of us.

Would you like to feel in control of your life? Feel energised and excited for what the coming year holds?

We need to define how we navigate this ‘new normal’ we are facing, and a vision board can help you do that. Reframe Coaching November group call: Tuesday 3 November at 8
Cancer. “It’s just another C-word,” said one of the ladies last month. She was talking about Covid, but what had impacted her far more seriously was the C-word that can send a chill through everyone, Cancer. And yet, there are so many inspiring stories of how people cope, how others help support them. They come out stronger than before.
In that virtual room, so many of us had been impacted by cancer we decided to make it the topic of this month’s Reframe Coaching call. Whether you have suffered from it, or someone dear to you, it’s time to share your experiences.
